If your kids are anything like mine, they probably miss some of their favorite dairy-filled foods. To help them cope with this, I have found MANY dairy-free substitutes for them ranging from milk alternative, pastry alternatives, and one of their favorites, a ranch alternative.
This vegan ranch is a slam dunk in my house and does not last long in our fridge. It is so easy to make, it only takes about 15-20 minutes to prep, and only includes 7 ingredients. Most of these ingredients are likely in your pantries and refrigerators.
Here is my take on dairy-free, vegan ranch dressing:
PrintPut all ingredients in a medium sized mixing bowl and whisk together. Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Optional add-ins and recipe variations: Cayenne pepper: For a hint or more of heat, feel free to add some cayenne powder to this vegan ranch dressing recipe. You could even add some hot sauce for more heat and color. Of course, chipotle powder would also work well for a sweet, smoky, spicy flavor.
